After I did many researches on line and tried to replace my ATT 2wire Router with latest Linksys N dual bands router, I decided to try this repeater.

The only "solution" I ever got somewhat working is to create multiple wireless vlans and dhcp scopes while using the same SSID on both the origin and extender and when I walked to the back of the house, the wireless device would drop off at the edge and receive an entirely new IP on the same subnet as the original, while the SSID and authentication would take place in the background.

I have called the Hawking Tech Support, they have helped me to reconfig it, but still not help.

Their tech support recommend channel 2. I have checked the status and ping the repeater, I have found that it always drop the packets. No Service, The performance is not up to spec.

The am VERY impressed with how much my overall network range has increased, especially considering the 5 or so walls this it has to go through The interface is simple and pretty self explanatory.

My router is in the basement and the signal is not the best on the second floor. However, thanks to previous reviewers, I was able to get this set up relatively quickly. My connection speed more than doubled. Go to the Hawking website and download the manual and just follow that setup through the web interface. After that I was all connected!

This occurs formware you still have your Hawking Range Extender still connected to the Router.
